The breakfast delivery service was a nice touch, and the flowers around the property were beautiful. The mattress in my room was quite uncomfortable. Enjoyed the free bike rentals to explore nearby attractions.

The indoor pool is clean and well-maintained, perfect for families. Lack of refrigerators in the rooms was inconvenient for storing snacks. Free bike rentals are a nice touch for exploring the area.

The staff delivers free coffee and pastries right to your room. The pool area is large and well-kept, perfect for a quick dip after a long day.
The room had a funky smell when we first walked in.

Taber Inn offers a prime location just outside Mystic, making it easy to explore the town without the hassle of traffic. The warm welcome and helpful recommendations from the owner were a standout, and our clean, comfy room featured a private balcony, perfect for relaxation.

I loved the cozy bungalow-style inn that felt like a home away from home. My room was gigantic, super clean, and had a lovely deck to relax on. The friendly staff made everything easy, and I enjoyed the quick breakfast delivery each morning!

Awful experience overall, with misleading pictures and a tiny, high bed. The breakfast was a joke, and the noise from neighboring rooms made it impossible to relax. And don't even get me started on the bugs in the room. The AC was a nightmare to figure out, and the missing temperature feature was infuriating. Such a disappointment!
The only silver lining was the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the pool area. But even that couldn't make up for the rest of the nightmare.

Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always accessible, which adds a personal touch often missing in chain hotels. I appreciated the comfortable room and convenient location. Breakfast was fresh, delivered right to us, making it an enjoyable start to the day. parking could be a challenge due to inconsiderate neighbors. The bed, too soft for my back, could use an upgrade. Broken drawers in the room were a minor annoyance, and a mini fridge would enhance the experience. Some screens in the windows for safety would be ideal, especially for families. A bit of fine-tuning would elevate this pleasant property even more.

The rooms are spacious and clean with comfy beds. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help with suggestions for activities and where to eat.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but it’s still reasonable.

The staff truly shine here—friendly and accommodating, they even called when we left something behind. The room had its quirks: a high bed and outdated decor, but the clean, updated bathroom was a nice surprise. Loved the indoor pool and the fresh breakfast delivered to our door was a delightful touch, though it could have used more variety. Parking was easy, and the convenient location made it simple to explore. Just wish the windows had privacy curtains; it felt a bit exposed at times. All in all, a cozy, pleasant spot with room for improvement.

Great staff and location. Lacked a mini fridge in the room.

I was really frustrated when I found out there was no vending on-site. I had to leave to grab a drink, which was a pain. Plus, the noise complaints felt unfair—I thought we were in a soundproof room!

The room was clean and spacious, perfect for us. Beds were comfortable. The shower offered excellent water pressure, and there was plenty of hot water. I loved having our own balcony, ideal for relaxing. the decor felt dated, and it would be great to have a refrigerator and coffee maker for late-night drinks. Noise from the neighboring room was noticeable but not disruptive. The pool was a standout feature, well-kept and quiet. Chairs were provided on the porch, though patio furniture would enhance the experience. A full-length mirror would also be a nice addition.

This charming inn is just a short walk of about 15-20 minutes to the historic downtown Mystic where you can enjoy a range of delicious restaurants, coffee shops, and the quaint Mystic River Park while the picturesque Mystic River Bascule Bridge adds to the ambiance; we loved that there’s a quality coffee shop across the street for our morning fix and even a grocery store and deli nearby to grab some snacks for our lovely deck where we sipped coffee in the morning sunshine; the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful providing us with breakfast goodies delivered to our room and the facility has that adorable bungalow style I adore; the only thing to note is that some modern amenities like a microwave and refrigerator are not available but that didn’t hinder our enjoyable stay at all.

Feeling like a boujee queen in the spacious conference room. Exploring the charming colonial buildings and flower gardens was a delight. Splashing in the largest heated indoor pool made me feel like a posh mermaid.
Oh, what a treat!

We had a blast kayaking in the peaceful waters of Mystic, feeling like real adventurers exploring hidden coves and secret spots. Sailing around Stonington was a dream come true, with the gentle breeze carrying us away to new horizons.
My kids wished for more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The staff was chill, the rooms cozy, and the pool was dope. Easy walk to lit food spots and the maritime museums. Defo coming back next summer!
Yo, would be epic if they had a cool hangout spot or game room for teens to vibe together after dark.

Our romantic escape was made even more special by the warm welcome we received, with the room pre-heated for coziness and a delightful continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning – a lovely touch. The friendly staff provided valuable insights on local dining options and getting around town. Plus, the location was super convenient, just a short stroll from both the train station and the charming downtown area.

I had a delightful stay at Taber Inn. the charming setting with white picket fences, lovely porches, and spacious accommodations made for a lovely experience. the separate indoor heated pool building was a rare find and a welcome addition. the continental breakfast was fresh and ample, and the staff was friendly, kind, and accommodating.
All good! 😊

The Taber Inn was a nice place to stay during our family trip. Our townhouse was clean and spacious, perfect for our group of six. The landscaping was beautiful, and it was conveniently located near Williams beach. One downside was the location of our room near the railroad tracks. While the train wasn't overly loud, we could still hear it passing by. I wished our room had a small fridge to keep our drinks cold. the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the thoughtful touch of muffins, coffee, and juice delivered to our door in the morning. The marketplace/deli across the street was also convenient for quick meals. one major issue we faced was the lack of hot water. It was really disappointing to have zero hot water throughout our stay. This may be a deal-breaker for us when considering our next trip. Despite the positives, such as the friendly staff and great location, the lack of hot water was a significant drawback. the Taber Inn had its ups and downs, but we may explore other options for our next stay based on our experience with the hot water issue.
